Celebrating Project Refresh’s 20th Edition of Refreshing Homes & Uplifting Lives

We recently marked the 20th edition of Project Refresh, a collaborative initiative with Young NTUC. Over 590 homes have received makeovers through this program since 2017! We celebrated the 20th edition with 500 volunteers who joined forces to refresh 70 more homes on 6 May. Volunteers from Hope Worldwide and Jean Yip also joined us to deliver care packs, haircuts, and grooming services to the seniors at Kheng Chiu Happy Lounge. Big thank you to all our partners and volunteers for being a part of our community's transformative journey!

HighlightMore than $500,000 raised for WeCare @ North East

After a hiatus of 3 years, we held our fundraising dinner for WeCare @ North East on 28 May. WeCare @ North East was started in 2019 to address a gap in our community support system – to help those in need of financial support but might not qualify for ComCare. We have raised over $500,000, and with North East CDC matching two dollars for every dollar raised, it gives us a total of more than $1.5 million to support our residents! WeCare @ North East stands as a unique initiative, fully supported by organisations of different faiths. It is a testament to the power of partnerships between organisations of different faiths and our commitment to support our less privileged, regardless of race or religion.

Experiencing diversity through HarmoNE Trail!

Organised in partnership with OnePeople.sg, participants of HarmoNE Trail had an enriching experience learning and appreciating the different religions and cultures we have in Singapore. This enriching journey included visits to the Living Sanctuary Brethren Church and joining the community at En-Naeem Mosque for a communal breaking of fast.
