Learn more about colorectal cancer and the aftercare support available at the launch of the Cancer Warrior Support Scheme for Colorectal Cancer happening at Our Tampines Hub on 30 and 31 August, from 11am to 6pm. Catch event highlights on 30 August from 2.30pm to 5pm, including live performances and discussions with medical experts on protecting your colorectal health.

Explore and Earn RedeemSG Vouchers with Walking Trails@CDC

Stay active and explore Singapore's heartlands with your loved ones on five interactive walking trails by the CDCs, featuring landmarks such as Bukit Timah Railway Station and Punggol Promenade Bridge. As you explore the heartlands, complete checkpoints, answer trivia questions, and spot CDC Ollies along the way. Have fun and enjoy the outdoors, and earn up to $50 in RedeemSG vouchers when you complete all five trails!

A Weekend of Giving

Last weekend, 400 volunteers from Project Refresh and Wellness on Wheels came together to refurbish 60 homes for seniors and lower-income families and distributed essential health supplies to those in need. Over at Jamiyah Home for the Aged, 150 mattresses and bedding sets were replaced with donations from Four Star Mattress and Thakral Corporation, providing better comfort for the residents. It was a weekend full of kindness and giving.

Building Skills and Exploring Job Opportunities

At Career & Skills Level Up @ North East, residents explored a wide range of career opportunities. Featuring over 2,500 job vacancies, free masterclasses, professional resume photo sessions, and opportunities to meet with employers, the festival provided the perfect platform for residents to develop skills and advance their careers.

PPHS Voucher Extension to Support Families

HDB is extending the Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme (PPHS) Voucher until 31 December 2025 to continue supporting young couples and families renting in the open market while waiting for their new flats. Eligible families can receive monthly rental reimbursements of $300 throughout the support period.


Working hand-in-hand with community and corporate partners, North East CDC provides interim financial and social assistance to residents in need.
